Notice from the Director of Business Services
Dear MSAD #51 Community,
Recently we received some 3rd Edition Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA) curriculum materials that contained minor errors. The company has subsequently replaced the materials for our schools at no additional cost to the district. The outdated materials are now available and free to members of the Cumberland/North Yarmouth Community. If you have interest in these items, you may come to the facilities/maintenance building on Wednesday, October 28, from 9:00am-2:00pm. Materials will be provided on a first come first served basis and must be taken in grade level sets. We are not able to provide piecemeal materials.

Egg Drop at GMS
6th grade science students participated in the decade-long tradition... THE EGG DROP! This year, students could only use materials from their recycling bin; materials that were Ecomaine approved. Close to 50% of students made successful devices! The lobby was filled with smiles, success and... smells.

If you would like something included in our weekly newsletter, please send a brief write up with title along with a JPEG or PNG image of your flyer (if applicable) to Melissa Porter for approval. The deadline each week is Wednesday. Any requests received after Wednesday will be reviewed for possible submission in the following week's newsletter. All approved submissions will be posted on the district's website.
