From the Superintendent
Graduation season is upon us, encompassing a week of activities and festivities that include Class Night, Senior Walk through the schools, Senior Breakfast and BBQ, Senior Project presentations, marching practice, a post-graduation bus parade down Main Street, Project Graduation, and the Commencement ceremony itself on Sunday afternoon. In Greely's history, this will be the 144th commencement ceremony since the founding of Greely Institute back in the late 1870s. Congratulations to all of our soon-to-be graduates and their families in the Class of 2024!
As the June 11 referendums are upon us for both the district budget and proposed new school/one campus project, an added feature that is now on the district's website is a calculator that can give you instant information about how this project would affect your own property tax bill. Work Permits for MSAD #51 Students
If your child is between the ages of 14 to 16 and is in need of a work permit, please complete this work permit application. Work permit applications can be dropped off at the MSAD #51 District Office (little red building), located at 357 Tuttle Road. If you prefer to email, please send to Tricia Small ([email protected]). The processing of work permits typically ranges from 1-2 business days. The District Office is open 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday (hours may vary in the summer).

2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration
If your child will be five years old on or before October 15, 2024, they are eligible to attend kindergarten this fall. Additionally, if you have a student currently enrolled in a private school or being homeschooled and would like them to attend Mabel I. Wilson School in the fall, please register your child online at www.msad51.org. If you have any questions, please call or email the Mabel I. Wilson School at 829-4825.
