Western Maine Conference Nordic Championship

Sylvia Harvey took first place in all three events with a classic race time of 16:11 on Wednesday,
February 7 th and a skate race time of 14:26 on Saturday. Combining the scores for the pursuit
event, she claimed first place with a combined time of 30:37.
In Wednesday’s classic race, Rowan Barry earned 3 rd place for the Rangers with a time of 16:28
follow by Evelyn Lacasse in 9 th (17:25), and Alina Schueman in 13 th (18:12). In the boys’ classic
race, Tait Harvey of Greely came in 2 nd with a time of 13:17, followed by Ben Wall in 3 rd place
(13:47), Keenan Barry (16:50) and Henry Teas (18:51).
In the skate race on Saturday, Sylvia was followed by Rowan Barry in 4 th place (15:18), Evelyn
Lacasse in 9 th (16:00), and Alina Schueman in 10 th (16:02). Due to their strong performances in
both their classic and the skate races, the Greely girls came in 1 st (Sylvia Harvey 30:37), 2 nd
(Rowan Barry 31:46), 9 th (Evelyn LaCasse 33:26) and 12 th (Alina Schueman 34:14) overall in the
pursuit, securing the team a first-place finish in their Western Maine Conference.
For the boys skate race, Tait Harvey came in 3 rd with a time of 13:43, followed by Ben Wall in 4 th
place (13:52), Keenan Barry (17:11) and Hunter Chittum (17:40). In the overall pursuit race, Tait
Harvey finished 3 rd with a time of 27:00, Ben Wall was 4 th with a time of 27:40, followed by
Keenan Barry (34:02) and Henry Teas (36:44). The Greely boys finished 3 rd in their conference.
