Where are you from? Where did you go to school?
I grew up in New York about 1.5 hours north of the city, in a very small town. I attended my undergrad at Western New England and graduate program at Westfield State.
Share something about your family and/or pets.
My husband is a college lacrosse coach and together we have 2 children, Wes (3.5) and Mac (1.5), and a fur child Cash (4). We moved here from Massachusetts a little over 2 years ago.
What makes you proud to be a member of the MSAD #51 community?
Everyday the students of Greely remind me of how wonderful is it be working in this district. They are such genuine, kind, and grounded kids. I am lucky to be in student services where I can see this play out in so many little ways, such as peers supporting each other through challenges or random groups helping each other pick out which senior picture should go in the yearbook. They laugh together and they cry together, whether they are "friends" or just attend the same classes. There is a real sense of community among them and it truly makes me proud to be able to be at MSAD 51 as a small part of their life journey.
When you are not in school, what can you be found doing?
I love cooking and trying out new recipes. Having lived and worked on cape cod for many years, I am a beach girl. I have definitely grown to appreciate the freezing cold waters that Maine has to offer, especially at my families favorite spot Popham beach.
